Shed Angels
Practical Skills & Community Projects
Located at the GSA Resource Centre in King Street, Gillingham, Shed Angels are Shed Angel groups are behind the Resource Centre, a hands-on community project where people can share skills, learn new ones, and take part in meaningful activities.
Our groups are inclusive, friendly, and designed to reduce loneliness and social isolation while improving health and wellbeing.
We focus on the four R’s:

Restoration.
Projects include furniture upcycling, bicycle repairs, and thrift initiatives (clothing and small household items).
Recycling – Let’s Talk Rubbish
Working in partnership with Medway Norse and Medway Council, we rescue tonnes of items from landfill every year, giving them a new purpose and reducing waste.
You can donate items at our large recycling containers located at:
-
Hoath Way

Capstone.
Please ensure items are suitable for reuse, as disposal costs the charity money that could otherwise support the community.
